OneFirmIntelCookie Policy
Last updated June 13, 2026. This explains the cookies and similar technologies we use, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR.
1. The short version
We keep this simple: OneFirmIntel uses only strictly necessary cookies to run the site and keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.
2. Cookies we set
- Session cookie (
ofi_session) — keeps you signed in and maintains your session as you move between pages. Strictly necessary; expires when your session ends. - Security token — a CSRF token used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Strictly necessary.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under PECR because the service cannot function without them.
3. Analytics without tracking cookies
We measure basic, aggregate traffic to improve the service, but we do this server-side using a salted hash of your IP address and browser — we do not store your raw IP and we do not set an analytics or advertising cookie in your browser for this. There are no Google Analytics or third-party trackers on the site.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but please note that blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using your account.
5. Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
